Access Statement

Smugglers Cottage is located along track which is rough and stony in places. If you are bringing a baby or small child, a backpack carrier or all-terrain pushchair is more suitable than an umbrella style buggy. The path down to the cottage is narrow slightly sloped and uneven with 4 steps at the bottom to the front door. The cottage garden is on two tiers a decked area near the front door and lawned garden accessible via the entrance path. The Cottage  is all on one level except the kitchen which has two steps down to it.

St Agnes does not have a bus or taxi service and there are only a small number of private vehicles none of which are available to hire. Everywhere on the Island is within walking distance and although visitors are welcome to bring bicycles, many of the tracks are small and there are obstacles in places, so walking is the easiest and best way to get around the island.
